MS/US Tenebrae

The word "Tenebrae" means "darkness." It uses the reduction of light to symbolize the total abandonment of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It was a powerful event for the early church, and it remains powerful today as it helps us turn our attention to the Passion of our Savior during Holy Week.
